We consider our branch unique in our underlying ethos and vision for development. As a group of like-minded individuals, we form a strong team who work well together and contribute to the advancement of diver safety, training and development through a range of diving activities, both in the UK and abroad. The team is built on the foundation of good teamwork, communication and collaboration allowing us to engage in diving activities with maximum safety and enjoyment while keeping “politics” and club “issues” to a minimum.

We have launched this website primarily to provide an information resource to our members. We have also included a brief outline of our club structure, who we are and what our aims are. Please feel free to explore our homepage, about page and team members list. For prospective members to the club, there are three ways to join in:

Non-Divers and New Divers (Under 20 Logged Dives)

If you are interested in learning to dive, or to further your inital training, we cordially invite you to get in touch with us through the Contact page. We continually welcome new members to the team, running regular BSAC Ocean Diver and Sports Diver courses.

Experienced Divers

We are not currently seeking applications from experienced divers. It is likely that the next round of applications will be in the autumn. Advertisements and application details for new members will appear on this homepage. DT Dive Team will consider all applications, supported and endorsed by two existing full members, and will likely ask that new prospective members attend at least two club events to show their suitability for integration into the dive team. In order to maintain a high standard of club safety, management and discipline, not all applications from already qualified divers will lead to membership.
